Cancellation and Refund Protocol
Immediate supply is a conscious choice; the right to change your mind and the right to functioning digital content are different matters.
Normal 14-day cancellation period
UK consumers buying digital content online generally have a 14-day cancellation period following contract formation, subject to statutory exceptions.
Early delivery decision
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, supplying downloadable content during this period requires the consumer's express consent, acknowledgement that their cancellation right will be lost once supply begins, and the required contractual confirmation.
Preserve the normal cancellation window where this delivery option is offered.
Expressly consent to early supply and acknowledge the cancellation consequence, with confirmation.
What our site does today
Checkout stays disabled until the consent record, contract confirmation, verified Lightning payment and download delivery process are implemented and tested.
Faults and remedies
Consumers retain applicable rights to remedies for defective, misdescribed or missing digital content even where a change-of-mind right has ended.
Refunds via Lightning
Lightning payments cannot usually be reversed directly. Where a refund is legally owed, we will agree a secure return route and explain any currency conversion. Never disclose a seed phrase or private key.
